The former lighthouse keepers' house, converted into a Visitors' Centre, houses the restaurant serving Zanzibarian, Arabic, Indian, and African cuisine. Chefs create dishes using local ingredients, catering to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences.

Delicious Eco-Friendly Meals

The food at Chumbe Island was simply very nice! Each meal was healthy, fresh, and packed with flavor. Dining under the stars while listening to the sounds of nature made every meal a unique experience. I especially loved the BBQ fish, which was definitely one of the best dishes I had during my stay. The all-inclusive meals made it easy to indulge without worrying about hidden costs.

Relaxing Snorkeling Adventures

The snorkeling at Chumbe Island was out of this world! I saw vibrant coral reefs and a variety of marine life, including sting rays and octopuses. The guided snorkeling tours were well-organized, offering insights about the reef. Our stay on Chumbe Island was unforgettable, with beautiful surroundings and amazing wildlife that made us feel at home during our three-night stay. The eco-bungalows blended perfectly with the forest, but the amenities were basic and might not suit everyone's preferences. We loved the incredible food and various activities, but it wasn't ideal for those expecting luxury and comfort. Definitely worth the effort to support the conservation efforts.
